Sigma 3-30KS

This high speed centrifuge combines innovative technology with many decades of experience in the field of high speed laboratory centrifuges.
Positioned between laboratory centrifuges and ultracentrifuges, this refrigerated benchtop centrifuge features outstanding performance characteristics and excellent value for money.
High RCF values of more than 70,000 x g enable fast separation, even with microscopic particles and cell fragments. This makes the Sigma 3‑30 especially suitable for high speed applications in fields such as cellular biology, molecular biology, diagnostics and clinical biology, nanotechnology, research and genetics.

What makes the Sigma 3‑30KS high speed centrifuge so attractive
The special drive system of the Sigma 3‑30KS is specifically designed for use at very high speeds. This concept allows the high speed centrifuge to achieve RCF values above 70,000 x g with microlitre tubes.
This high speed centrifuge also has a high-performance refrigeration system. Centrifuging at temperatures below 0°C is possible, depending on the rotor and the speed.

A total of 20 rotors are available, along with a broad range of accessories. The tube capacities extend from 0.2 ml to 94 ml in fixed-angle rotors or 0.2 ml to 100 ml in swing-out rotors. Microtiter and deepwell plates can also be centrifuged.

Sigma centrifuge tables are available in six different sizes. Matched to the corresponding centrifuge dimensions, they combine convenient work height with an optimally calculated footprint. The tables are made from coated sheet steel and are equipped with a storage compartment (with two doors) and a convenient pull-out shelf. Lockable castors allow the centrifuge tables to be easily moved and positioned in the laboratory.
