DT 9510 Series

The ERWEKA DT 950 series is our first digital dissolution tester on the market, equipped with the latest technology for the requirements of today and the challenges of tomorrow.

The ERWEKA DT 9510 series is the “big brother” of the DT 950 series of digital dissolution testers.

Controlled by the same integrated PC, all components of the DT 9510 are designed for reliable, high-volume digital dissolution testing: The test stations (up to 14) are driven by a single, powerful motor and the large water bath keeps the temperature stable due to the thermal inertia of the water. This ensures that parallel testing of two batches of samples can be performed under exactly the same conditions, making the comparison between the two as reliable as possible and 100% USP / EP compliant.

With the new optional AirLift system, the dissolution head of the DT 9510 can be raised and lowered by simply pressing two buttons. In addition, the DT 9510 series has the same features as its smaller sibling – digital dissolution testing is done using the latest version of the TestAssist testing tool, and samples can be automatically dropped into the vessel.

Digital Embedded Technology

Modern User Interface With TestAssist

The digital embedded PC technology offers all the advantages and unlimited possibilities of modern software programming and makes both the DT 950 and DT 9510 more future-proof than ever before. In the first step, this means simple network printing and a modern user interface. In the future, further functions will be added to the DT 950 and DT 9510 series, allowing it to constantly adapt to user requirements and future Industry 4.0 developments. The modern user interface keeps the user focused on the most important function of the DT 950 and DT 9510: the dissolution test.

  • TestAssist, the intelligent guide for dissolution tests
  • DirectHelp, direct on-screen help at the touch of a button
  • Multilingual operation in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and German

Upgrade Your DT

AirLift System

The hardware of the DT 950 and DT 9510 series enables a step-by-step upgrade from a manual dissolution tester to a semi-automatic online, offline or on-/ offline system.

  • Upgrade to up to 14 test stations
  • Optional, automatic tablet drop
  • ASS-9 automatic sampling station
With the DT 9510, ERWEKA is introducing the AirLift system. The AirLift makes it easy to raise and lower the large dissolution head of the DT 9510.

In addition to raising and lowering the head, the AirLift is also extremely safe to use thanks to its two-hand safety system. With one hand, the operator presses one of the two buttons on the right-hand side to select either the downward or upward movement. With the other hand, the operator confirms the selection by pulling the unlocking lever directly in front of the touch screen. As soon as one of the two buttons is released, the AirLift stops immediately. This is highly intuitive without compromising the operator’s safety.

Network Printing Explained LAN Network & USB Printing Capabilities

The technology platform of the DT 950 / DT 9510 enables the convenient use of network printers from many different manufacturers. Thanks to a practical printer setup, the LAN-connected DT 950 / 9510 finds all printers in the network. Simply select the correct driver from a list and the DT 950 / DT 9510 reliably prints via the selected printer.

The DT 950 / DT 9510 can currently print on network and USB printers from Hewlett-Packard, Kyocera and OKI. Both systems also support USB printers from Brother. Further printers will follow shortly.

Unlimited Upgradeability – At Any Time

Our world is constantly changing – that’s why ERWEKA has developed a dissolution tester that is already well equipped for the challenges of tomorrow. After the initial purchase, the DT 9510 can also be upgraded further – including from 12 to 14 test stations, with an automatic tablet drop or an automatic sampling station. The high degree of modularity makes it possible to quickly turn a 12-station stand-alone DT 9512, for example, into the heart of a complete dissolution HPLC On-/ Offline System with 14 test stations and Disso.NET 4 software. This means that the DT 9510 remains flexible throughout its entire life cycle. After all, who knows what challenges await in a few years’ time?
